1. Products and Ordering

1.1 Made-to-Measure Products

Our furniture is made to measure based on your body dimensions. Each piece is custom-built and cannot be resold as standard stock.

1.2 Order Process

1. Fit Preview — You provide measurements; we generate a fit preview showing how your chair will be proportioned
2. Approval — You review and approve the fit preview (or request adjustments)
3. Deposit — 50% deposit secures your build slot
4. Production — We build your piece (typically 2 weeks)
5. Balance & Delivery — Remaining 50% due before delivery or pickup

1.3 Fit Preview

The fit preview is a visual representation based on your provided measurements. Minor variations may occur in the final product due to material characteristics and handcrafted production.

2. Pricing and Payment

2.1 Prices

All prices on our website include Dutch VAT (BTW) at the applicable rate. Prices are in Euros (€).

2.2 Payment Terms

• Deposit: 50% due upon fit preview approval to reserve your build slot
• Balance: Remaining 50% due before delivery or pickup

2.3 Founders 10 Offer

The first 10 customers ("Founders 10") receive a premium fabric upgrade at no additional cost, in exchange for providing photos (3-5) and a short testimonial after two weeks of use.

3. Delivery

3.1 Delivery Area

We deliver assembled furniture within 90 minutes driving distance from Utrecht, Netherlands.

3.2 Delivery Options

• Pickup from Utrecht: Free
• Delivered assembled: +€95 (within delivery area)
• Outside delivery area: Pickup only, or courier quote available on request

4. Your Right to Cancel

4.1 Custom Products

Because our products are made to your specifications, the standard 14-day withdrawal right for online purchases does not apply once production has begun.

4.2 Cancellation Before Production

• Before deposit paid: Cancel at any time without charge
• After deposit, before production starts: Full deposit refund minus €150 administration fee
• After production starts: No refund available

5. Fit Guarantee

5.1 What's Included

If the delivered chair does not match the approved fit preview specifications, we will make adjustments at no additional cost. This includes seat depth, backrest angle, and armrest height adjustments.

5.2 Limitations

The fit guarantee does not cover changes to your preferences after approval, normal material characteristics, measurements you provided incorrectly, or wear from normal use.

5.3 Timeframe

Fit adjustment requests must be made within 14 days of delivery.

6. Warranty

6.1 Structural Warranty

We warrant the structural integrity of our furniture for 5 years from delivery, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal household use.

6.2 What's Not Covered

Normal wear and tear, damage from misuse or accidents, fading from sunlight, damage from improper cleaning products, and commercial use are not covered.
